LIVE AT THE MASON JAR - CD

This record happened by accident…

The Mason Jar has been home to several gigs for my group throughout my years in college and provided an opportunity for me to begin to build the basic skills essential to my work today. I tried to maintain a regular date after college but, as you can imagine, the COVID-19 pandemic put a bit of a damper on this.  So, now two years later, when I booked this most recent date with The Mason Jar, I wanted to do something a little different and show my appreciation with a fun little project.

During late 2020 and throughout 2021, I began a new venture into the world of recording and producing. After several projects in the studio, I wanted to try my hand at creating a mobile studio with similar capabilities as a brick and mortar in an effort to drastically reduce the costs of recording for bands. Being so new to this side of music, I knew I couldn’t just go out and expect everything to go perfect the first time out. Knowing this, I wanted to use a relaxed setting to test the entire rig. And what do you know? It went great!  

I want to give a big shout out to Kenneth Booher and Rhys Gerwin for helping out on this project. Their great talents lended to the quality of this record. And of course, A big thank you to Douglas LaBar and The Mason Jar for the continued support over the years.
